Our Past, Our Present & Our Future

How does one measure success across 2 decades? With 32 successful franchise stores and a brand that keeps expanding across South African borders. And with popular retail giants who trust us as their partner in signage and branding to the smaller clients who get the very same treatment – the Signarama way!

Signarama opened its first store in South Africa in 2000 with one franchise. The brand now has 32 successful franchise stores across Southern Africa, including: South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana. It has grown to be known as the number one signage franchise in Southern Africa, and we show no signs of slowing down.

With the advent of digital signs and specialised design services, Signarama continues to serve its customers in various communities in order to grow our brands.

The 2020 vision for the brand is to keep growing in leaps and bounds, within our borders and beyond and more specifically:

  • Grow the franchise network by establishing new franchises in KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Gauteng, North West and Limpopo.

  • Expand our geographic footprint with stores in Namibia and Mozambique.

  • Continue to be the premier supplier of signage and branding to businesses and individuals across the region, and to be recognised as such.

  • To continue to work alongside national and provincial government, as well as our customers.

  • Continue to foster great relationships with our customers by improving their brand awareness, increasing their customer base, and impacting their bottom line.

  • Continue to develop and refine our business locally, based on the Signarama global business model, offering aspiring entrepreneurs a profitable franchise model.

  • Continue to invest in the communities we operate in through active community involvement with targeted Corporate Social Investment programs, including our current CSI partners, the SA Guide Dog Association.
